Who can join

You must be 18 or older. One account per person. You must use your real first name and describe yourself honestly — the entire product depends on your answers being true, and it does not work if they aren’t.

How matching works

You are matched with at most one person per cycle. Matches expire if you do not both accept within the decision window. We do not guarantee that you will receive a match on any given day: if nobody suitable is available, you get nobody.

What isn’t allowed

• Harassment, threats, hate speech, or sexual content sent to someone who hasn’t invited it.
• Impersonating anyone, or using photos that aren’t of you.
• Soliciting money, promoting a business, or recruiting for anything.
• Automated access, scraping, or attempts to game the matching engine.
• Contacting anyone who has passed on a match with you.

We may suspend or remove an account for any of the above, without notice, and we’ll err on the side of the person being harmed.

Beta

Sline is in early beta. Features may change or break, the pool is small, and matches may be infrequent. The service is provided as-is, without warranty. It is free during the beta.

Your content

What you write stays yours. You give us only the permission needed to display it to your match and operate the service.

Ending it

You can delete your account at any time. We can close an account that breaks these terms.
